Members of the Indiana Academy of Science are professionals from industry and academia, college students from Indiana colleges and universities, teachers in the Indiana public and private schools, nationally and internationally recognized scientists from Indiana, and residents of the general community.

Academy members have opportunity to submit research grant proposals for Academy funding, receive the Academy’s 100+ year peer-reviewed journal entitled the Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science, receive continued education through lecture, workshops and hot topics presented at the members Annual Academy Meetings; interact with and mentor young future scientists from Indiana high schools; are invited to participate in community science education events and scientific research, receive the Academy’s quarterly newsletter filled with information about upcoming Bioblitz and other events, open positions available in the state of Indiana and the country; and so much more.
