Missouri Botanical Garden - 2018 Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, funded by the National Science Foundation. The program is open to undergraduate students (US citizens or permanent residents). It provides research training for 10 students for 10 weeks during the summer (June 4 – August 10, 2018). Students will work on independent mentored projects, choosing from a variety of topics, including taxonomy of tropical plants, population genetics and speciation, biodiversity modeling, conservation biology, restoration ecology, and crop development.   To learn more about the program, available mentors and projects, and how to apply, follow this link: http://www.mobot.org/reu/
