Celebrate Science Indiana 2026
Celebrate Science Indiana, the state’s premier science festival, returns to the Indiana State Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 10. This free, all-ages event brings together science-based businesses, federal agencies, universities, and institutions like the Indiana State Museum and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. Together they offer a full day of hands-on activities and demonstrations, many with take-home materials so the learning continues after you leave.
This year, the Indiana Academy of Science joins the festival as a new partner of the Science Education Foundation of Indiana (SEFI), the organization behind Celebrate Science Indiana. The partnership is built on a shared goal: showing young Hoosiers that science leads to real, rewarding careers, and connecting them with the people doing that work across the state.
Stop by the IAS booth to meet members of Indiana’s scientific community and learn how IAS brings scientists, students, and educators together across every field, from chemistry and computer science to engineering and earth science.
