Maarij Syed is a professor in the Physics, Optical and Nano Engineering department st Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. He works in the area of magneto-optics and is passionate about physics instruction, especially in the area of Quantum Information and Science. His research is supported by many capable undergraduate students who have, in many instances, gone on to obtain doctorates and embarked on their own journey of discovery and careers in science.
