Bio
Scott Rahschulte is a Professor of Life and Physical Sciences at Ivy Tech Community College – Batesville Campus. Scott has been a Professor at Ivy Tech for over 25 years. Since his first career was as a physician for 10 years, he is very passionate about teaching life sciences, especially Human Anatomy and Physiology. Over the last decade, Scott has been more intrigued learning about Earth Science, particularly within National Parks, National Historic Trails, and National Wildlife Refuges. His most recent work has been in collaboration with Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail and Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge. Rob Chapman is a Biological Science Technician at Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge near Madison, IN. Rob facilitates invasive species control and performs biological surveys on the refuge, is a federal wildland firefighter, and assists private landowners through the USFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife program. Rob has a BS in Wildlife Science from Purdue University and an MS in Rangeland Ecology from Oklahoma State University. Prior to Big Oaks, Rob has worked for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Agency, Missouri Department of Conservation, and Purdue University. Rob is an avid outdoorsman enjoying running, camping, hiking and backpacking, canoeing and kayaking, bike packing, fishing, and hunting.
