Bio
Taylor is a 3rd year medical student at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to medical school, he completed his Master of Biomedical Science at MU-COM, which is where his interest in research grew. His primary research interests are neural cell biology and the effects of soft tissue manipulation on musculoskeletal injuries and recoveries. He has had the opportunity to work with two phenomenal Primary Investigators, Dr. Elizabeth Delery and Dr. Jonathan Lowery. In his work with Dr. Delery, Taylor was given the opportunity to design and pursue his own experimental protocol in the field of neural cell biology. This project has grown into the traumatic brain injury research that he is presenting today. Since beginning at MU-COM, Taylor has been a part of 8 publications and 17 presentations. Additionally, he was most recently named Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s 2023 Student Researcher of the Year.
